Here is my week 2 day 1 SLJ activity. I am so excited! Tomorrow is Christmas! Anyway, I hope you like it.

  1. Talofa Alodia,

Thanks for sharing the great photo of you at the ice skating rink, I'd love to go there right about now especially with how hot it is outside! I've always wished for it to snow in Auckland, it makes me want to visit Snow Planet.. Have you ever been there?

You have a created a very thoughtful support team here and provided good reasons why you'd have them by your side. I'd probably take my Mum because she is my biggest supporter, my youngest sister because I feel like she'd have the loudest cheer in the crowd and my niece because she'd probably do the race to encourage me to finish. :)

Well done on sussing out the true facts from the false facts in the last activity. Perhaps next time you could include why each fact is true or false. Rather than 'classes', what are groups of fish called? Also, although sharks do have eyelids, they do not blink, let me know if you find out why that is...

Keep up the great work Alodia!

    Toe feiloa'i fo'i,

    Cia.

  2. Hello Cia,
I have been to snow planet before. It's soooooo cool! Oh, and sharks don't blink because the water cleans their eyes. Some species have something that covers their eyes when their hunting and the shark has the cover when it's being attacked, and fish travel in schools.
