Here is my week 1 day 5 SLJ activity. Do you think the week passed very fast? I did. Anyway, enjoy!

  1. Hey Alodia,

You have provided two great reasons to as to why logging in Aotearoa should stop. They make for a strong argument, seeing as oxygen is a must have for all life on our planet.. I found the third point interesting, did you try it out?

You have written an informative letter to your Mum about your day at the Tundra. One of the worst things to happen in hot weather is getting sunburnt! However, remember that the Tundra has an average temperature of -28°C, which means it is insanely cold! Please edit your letter to reflect the real temperatures found in the Tundra. I will be happy to reward you with full points for this activity when you have done so. You've got this!

Auckland is indeed a very busy place, I like that you made sure to include some other places that are in Aotearoa like Hobbiton. Perhaps next time you could talk a bit more about our different sporting events, teams and athletes, we are very much a Rugby nation! The All Blacks have won the past two Rugby World Cups, however I have a feeling it will be someone else this year if the All Blacks aren't in ship shape! What team are you supporting this year?

    Toe feiloa'i fo'i,

    Cia.

    1. hello Cia,
I have fixed activity 2, and I have tried out the 3rd reason why we should stop logging. I am still supporting the all blacks this year. What about you?

    2. Talofa Alodia,

Great! You have described well what it feels like to get out of a pool when it's cold, you do feel like you'll freeze.. it's the worst!

Although I haven't been a fan of their gameplay recently, I will still back the All Blacks!

      Toe feiloa'i fo'i,

      Cia.
