Summer Learning Journey
This is my week 2 day 4 SLJ activity. I hope you like it.
You have explained why you would want to explore Milford Sound by helicopter, ka pai. I know you thought about this carefully looking at the list of reasons for your choice. Sometimes people do get ill when riding on a boat, this is called sea sickness (also known as motion sickness). Your brain gets a little frazzled by all the movement which causes dizziness and even vomiting. If you get car sick, you may very well get sea sick.
You have been very creative with the proposed new names for Devil's Bath. Your pick of the bunch seems like a good replacement, especially with the inclusion of the word 'rotten'. I'd probably go for something like 'Emerald Stench'. I wonder what it smells like, I'll probably visit Devil's Bath to get a whiff one day, just to see if it lives up to its name and reputation.
You have written a great little story about the picture you selected, I like the way you described what she could see, smell and feel. Perhaps next time you could write about how the girl in the picture felt just as she snapped the picture standing on the edge of that building. What do you think was going through her mind?
I probably wouldn't take a selfie the way she did because I wouldn't want to end up falling over the edge! No thank you! I shall stick to regular selfies.
Would you take a risky selfie like the girl in the picture?
Another great post Alodia! Also, congratulations on completing the Summer Learning Journey, I am looking forward to reading your final post!

Cia.
Hello Cia,
DeleteThank you for commenting on my blog. I wouldn't want to take a selfie like the girl is doing in the photo, not at all.
