Tui street tales

Last term, a lady called Anne Kayes came to our school. She told us about her book that she wrote, tui street tales. Now our class are making slides about the stories in tui street tales. I hope you like it.

athletics

On the 6th of November, Puriri team and Kauri team went to lovelock track to do athletics. The activities were 100 meter sprint, 200 meter, 800 meter, long jump, high jump, discus, and shotput. I came 2nd in 800 meter sprints, and 4th in most of the other activities.I think that the high jump was the hardest activity because we started jumping at 95cm and I'm not very good at it.  I really liked lovelock track because the racing track did not have any sticks or thorns on the track, so that meant that we wouldn't hurt ourselves.
