Summer Learning Journey week 2
This is my week 2 day 5 SLJ activity. Have you enjoyed reading my posts? Enjoy!
You have told us what you thought about the rule very clearly, ka pai. I like that you have included a few reasons to support your view on overfishing. A friendly reminder that this activity is asking you to tell us what you think about people being fined up to $100,000 for overfishing. I'm going to take this post as you thinking it is fair to fine (charge) people who overfish. :)
I personally think it's fair to get a fine. Overfishing is a serious problem, a lot of life and ocean ecosystems depend on having fish in our waters. There are also rules around what kinds of fish you can take home. Did you know that if you catch a fish that is undersized, you must place it back in the water?
Ka pai Alodia, for getting all the information that we asked for! You have included two polluted rivers, their locations and what is being done to clean them up. I hope they do get it all under control!
You have come up with some good ideas for fundraising, I think some great events that charge an admission fee are fair. Selling food to fundraise often works, especially if the goods are delicious!
You are welcome. :) Yes I have awarded you full points for all three activities.
Don't forget to venture out onto other blogs and leave thoughtful, positive and helpful comments. You will receive 2 points for every quality comment you make.
