In the school holidays, My family went to Mt Maunganui. We lived right next to the beach and it was only a 1 minute walk. On our second day there, we climbed Mt Maunganui. It was more than 2 hours to get up and down the mountain. It is 232m tall, which is not tall at all. Then we went to the beach and the hot pools. The hot pools were very hot, and it was salt water!
Hi Alodia, I'm Lucas from Rm23. Sounds like you had a good holiday. I think 232m sounds pretty tall and the mountain looks tall next to the 2 buildings in the picture. Did you see any interesting animals when you were walking up the mountain?

Yes I did see animals on the way up the mountain. I saw lambs an sheep. The lambs would run up to their mothers and drink milk. I also saw lots of birds in the trees.

Hi Alodia, it's your sister here:).
ReplyDeleteClimbing up the mountain was really cool. Maybe you could add a few more photos of our holiday? I remember seeing the sheep while we climbed and the lambs running after their mothers.
232 meters is pretty tall! Why do you think that it is not tall at all?

Thank you for commenting on my blog Claire. I think that mount maunganui is not tall because compared to the Eiffel tower and the sky tower it is pretty small.
