  1. Talofa Alodia,

    Activity 1:
Wow, this was a very detailed and interesting description. Wings as fast as a Hummingbird's that's pretty fast, not easy to see with the human eye at all. I wonder what it eats when it's awake.. You used lots of adjectives and even some similes!

Perhaps next time you could describe what your beast smells like, I wonder if it has dragon breath..
What colour is your beast? I imagine it being a pearly dark green..

    Activity 2:
You have listed some pros and cons to working as a DOC Ranger, ka pai. I can tell you have thought about it very carefully.

Perhaps next time you could organise your pros and cons into a bullet pointed list to make it easier for your readers to see. Also, remember that you are to tell us whether or not you'd want to work as a DOC Ranger. Based on you pros and cons, would you be a DOC Ranger or not? I am curious about what you'd choose. Please edit your presentation to include this so I may give you full points for this activity :)

Personally, I wouldn't want to be a DOC Ranger because it just isn't my passion in life. This doesn't mean I don't care for the survival and conservation of animals, because I can always help in lots of different ways like donating. Can you think of a different way you could help?

    Activity 3:
I can tell you were paying close attention to the video clip because you have picked up on lots of the information that was shared. WWF is doing an important job to protect these Seal Pups from the dangers that surround them and ultimately extinction, you are so right.

Perhaps next time you could add some information about the tools they use to build these snowbanks that protect the Freshwater Seal Pups and help them survive.

I am concerned about how little the numbers are for Freshwater Seals. It reminds me of our treasured bird, the Kakapo who are also an endangered species. Do you know of any other endangered species in Aotearoa? Let me know in the comment section below.

    Toe feiloa'i fo'i,

    Cia.

Thank you for getting back to me about those endangered species, I just researched the Wrybill, they are really interesting to look at with their bent bill.

      Keep up the awesome work!
